Riwa was born and grew up in Syria, living in Germany for the last 8 years. She has been working and aiming since her teenage years to reach the time when I and everyone else can live in a society where everyone's ideas, identities, or paths are included and supported. She has worked with Syrian women activists on both building more participation and reclaiming spaces in politics, society, and everywhere else.
