Dave Oswald Mitchell served as Editorial Director of the Beautiful Trouble project from its inception until 2018, and co-edited the books Beautiful Trouble (2012) and Beautiful Rising (2017). He edited the Canadian activist publication Briarpatch Magazine from 2005 to 2010, and since then has worked on a variety of projects sharpening the prose of frontline organizers, progressive academics and marginalized voices. He enjoys brevity, irony, and going elsewhere.
