“Amongst the best was Andrew Boyd’s compendium-like Beautiful Trouble which brought together some of the most imaginative elements of a movement influenced by a mix of non-violent direct action and the public drama of situationism.”Mark Perryman, The Substantive
Here at Beautiful Trouble, seasoned activists, rebel-rousers, and political artists work together in support of movements for social change by creating resources and providing training on nonviolent direct action and creative activism. Our resistance toolbox includes Beautiful Trouble and Beautiful Rising books and websites, a study guide, and an ever-evolving Training Library of movement resources and training materials.
On Saturday, March 24th thousands of people will take to the streets in solidarity with the students from Parkland, Florida, in a call to stop gun violence in our communities in the March for Our Lives.
In service of this moment, we’ve created the March for Our Lives On-the-Bus Prep Guide. Below are links for this training guide, as well as a few additional resources to support effective work for gun violence prevention.
Let us know if this was useful, or if you have suggestions for future guides. And please consider a donation in support of the ongoing development of resources to fuel movements for a healthy, just, and equitable planet.
